Gateway Annual Fund

Gateway was founded by a group of families who believed there was a need in the Bay Area for a smaller, personalized, college preparatory public high school with a commitment to serving a diverse student population.  The Gateway Annual Fund is a vital way for you to contribute to the school. Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Gateway close the “gap” between what we receive from public funding and what the Gateway program truly offers.  This gap is more than $2,000 per student this year.

Why Your Generous Support is Essential

Contributions to the Annual Fund help us offer our students:

• small classes
• a full time college counselor
• dedicated and talented faculty
• personalized support through the Learning Center
• an athletics program
• visual and performing arts
• Project Week

Gateway Scholars Endowment Fund:

Established in 2000, donors to this Fund have made a gift to the School's endowment with the goal of covering those costs of a student's education at Gateway not supported by the State's per pupil funding. 

Foundation Scholars:  The following Foundations have made a donation to Gateway to support the additional costs of Gateway students' education.
