Learning About Religion, Promoting Religious Tolerance

A collection of websites designed to educate others
about the diverse world of religious belief.

These websites are the result of dedication and collaboration among Gateway’s ninth grade students. Gateway students were presented with the following questions:

• How has religion shaped today’s world?
• How does religion influence people’s ideas of right and wrong?
• In what ways has religion been the source of conflict between people?
• In what ways does religion bring people together?

Their task was to address these questions through the lens of one world religion or spiritual philosophy. Through their websites, students hope to promote religious tolerance by fighting ignorance and fear of the unknown.
