To Apply

2016-2017 Applicants:

The application for the 9th Grade lottery for the 2016-2017 school year is now available. The due date for the application is Friday, January 15, 2016, 5pm.

There is no deadline for the wait pool application for 9-10th grade applicants for the 2015-2016 school year or 10-12th grade for the 2016-2017 school year, but we recommend submitting it as soon as you can.

Welcome to the Gateway enrollment application process. As a public charter school, Gateway seeks to serve a diverse group of students and send each one on the road to college. As required by California law, we hold a lottery for admission if the number of applicants exceeds the number of spots available. Students at Gateway Middle School who reside in the district, those students within the district whose siblings attend Gateway High School, and district students who qualify for free and reduced price meals, are eligible for admission preference. For those admitted to Gateway, we use the information submitted during the application process to ensure that each student receives proper course placements, support, and enrichment opportunities.

For your convenience, we have provided step-by-step application instructions for each type of applicant. Please be sure to carefully review the details of each step. If you need assistance to complete the application, please call our main office Monday-Friday between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at: 415.749.3600. We are happy to help.
