All enrolled students and families must accept the terms of the Student Acceptable Use Policy in order to access and utilize school-provided technology services and assets.
All Gateway students are provided with 4 user accounts, including: Google Apps (email, calendar, docs, sites, etc), PowerSchool (grades & attendance), Student Server (file storage and web publishing), and VolunteerMatch (community service opportunities).
What's my Username & Password?
Students & guardians may request their username and password from their Gateway Advisor. Usernames formulated as such: Last 2 digits of expected year of High School graduation plus entire first name plus first initial of last name. So, if Tim Lincecum were a Gateway High student graduating in 2015, his username would be: 15timl.
School Provided Email Accounts:
Access has changed for High School students in order to accommodate the addition of the Middle School domain. All Gateway students may now access their school-provided gatewayhigh.net or gatewaymiddle.net email account at https://gmail.com. When you login at Gmail, make sure that you type your entire email address in the username field. So, if your High School provided username is 15kevinm, your login username for Gmail is firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may access the Student/Guardian PowerSchool portal at https://gateway.powerschool.com. Students and guardians share the same login creditials.
Students with Macintosh computers may access their Student Server network account from home at the following AFP address with the Connect to Server... function available from the Finder's "Go" menu, "students.gatewayhigh.org"
You may access Gateway's VolunteerMatch portal at this address: http://gateway.volunteermatch.org. See your Gateway Advisor for more information.
